This project blends live-action plates with AI-driven character, environment, and performance augmentation. Starting from live-action footage of our father character, the goal was to create a series of evolving memories of his daughter growing up around him through a layered, double-exposure-inspired visual approach. Ritual Labs was responsible for developing the surrounding memory plates and building the daughter’s progression over time — from infancy through childhood, adolescence, and ultimately her wedding day — while maintaining emotional continuity, realism, and human performance throughout.

The intent was never to replace live action, but to build on top of it: combining traditional production craft with AI-native workflows to create a more flexible and iterative filmmaking process while preserving believable physics, natural motion, cinematic continuity, and emotional authenticity.
