Very proud to share this film that tells the story of the Duolingo English Test through those it impacts most — the students! We traveled to 5 cities in 4 countries to interview 16 university students about the challenges of studying abroad, the evolution of the testing industry, and the life-changing power of higher education.

This project was special. We worked with Duolingo’s DET team to plan out a multi-country shoot to film 15+ different subjects who have all experienced having to take an English Proficiency Test in order to attend an English speaking college. Our core team was 5 people and then we picked up a few roles in each country we visited.
